For this public resume, key metrics and results of private companies have been left out.

Work

Co-founder, CEO
2021 – 2024
Medley

2021– 2024

  • I founded Medley to help creators sell products and build their audience on multiple channels.

  • We were acquired one year after raising initial VC.

  • I led the product & marketing efforts, bootstrapping our first users with a nominal budget.

Co-founder, Product Manager
2019 – 2021
Lithium

2019 – 2021

  • Lithium was a crypto crowdfunding site. It allowed projects to raise capital from community and early investors.

  • It was grew to significant GTV in a period of just a few months. Alas, it was macro dependent.

  • The Lithium community token reached a (short-lived) marketcap of over $20m, entirely bootstrapped.

Co-founder, Product Manager
2017 – 2019
Simpl.rent

2017– 2019

  • I founded Simpl after a terrible experience (still waiting on a good one) with an estate agent.

  • The vision was to create an app that would allow landlords to manage tenants directly, without using a third party service.

  • Simpl now does significant MRR

  • I left Simpl fairly early, when we pivoted to the Polish market (UK was too saturated). I don’t speak Polish and startups are difficult enough without the problem of not being able to speak to your customers.

Education & Early Work

2012 – 2017
2012 – 2017
  • I graduated in Chemical Engineering (Aston University) with the highest mark in my graduating class.

  • I worked in oil & gas for a year (Suez), then automotive (JLR). I’m not built to perform engineering calcs all day.

  • After my brief engineering career I moved to London and worked at a couple of startups where I learnt product management (Urban, Zeelo).

How I Waste Time

  • I have a YouTube channel teaching product management and entrepreneurship. It’s small (3kish subs) but does decent revenue for it’s size, I’ve made over £20k from course sales. My pseudo-intellectual newsletter has 7k subs.

  • In Covid I created myKanban, a productivity hardware product. We sold over £20k on Kickstarter + D2C sales.

  • I have too many tech-bro stereotypical hobbies. Chess (bad), Jiu-Jitsu (worse), and am currently learning Spanish (my mother in law assures me I am showing early promise). Periodically I enjoy long motorcycle adventures.
